He was a gifted producer whose greatest skill may have been his ability to bring together disparate talents that you might not think would fit together but turned out to be truly inspired. Music and television producer and all-around legend Hal Willner has died, just one day after his 64th birthday.

Written and directed by ANOHNI, the surreal, intense theatrical piece ’She Who Saw Beautiful Things’ featured Laurie Anderson, Kembra Pfahler, giant mosquitoes and more. ANOHNI and friends also covered Velvet Underground afterwards at the April 21 benefit show.

The performance happens in the midst of the run of ANOHNI’s theatre piece ‘She Who Saw Beautiful Things.’ A related art exhibition is underway now…
