Harley Flanagan will kick off his 30th anniversary celebration of Cro-Mags' sophomore album, Best Wishes, at NYC's The Pyramid Club, which is celebrating its own 40th anniversary.
Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown will return for a final season on CNN, including an episode that explores NYC's East Village and Lower East Side, with appearances from members of Blondie, Cro-Mag Harley Flanagan, Jim Jarmusch, Kid Congo Powers and more.
Bourdain was a great lover and champion of music, and tributes from musicians have been pouring in, including Iggy Pop, Laura Jane Grace of Against Me!, Questlove, El-P, Zola Jesus, John Lurie, Jimmy Eat World, and more.
Backed by a wall of amps with glow-in-the-dark crimson ghosts painted on them and a massive LED screen, Jerry, Glenn, Doyle, Dave, and Acey tore through a career spanning 27-song setlist that had the crowd going completely bonkers.
The Original Misfits have added even more veteran hardcore talent to their first NJ/NY-area show since 1983. In addition to Suicidal Tendencies and Murphy's Law, the show will feature founding Cro-Mags member Harley Flanagan.
