This was the kickoff show for the onetime Swans member’s first U.S. tour in ages.

Jarboe’s new LP contains four new songs, as well as three alternate mixes and collaborations with Byla (featuring members of Gorguts, Dysrhythmia), End Christian (Brutal Truth, dälek) and Kris Force (Amber Asylum).

The gothic folk singer’s new album features guest vocals by Jarboe, Sera Timms (Black Mare, Ides of Gemini), and Tara Vanflower (Lycia), and Henry talked about the influence of Swans, Ulver, Burzum, Willie Nelson, and Vic Chesnutt on the LP…

She also made a hand-painted box set for Swans’ 1996 album Soundtracks For The Blind.
