Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra

Jeff Goldblum and his jazz band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra are back on the road, with select dates between now and the spring around the U.S.

Anna Calvi, Inara George, Los Angeles jazz singer Gina Saputo, and two more guest vocalists still to be announced also feature on ’I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This,’ which is due out in November.

As you might expect from a cool cat like Jeff, it was a loose, fun and chill evening full of music, bits and banter.

Actor, philosopher, zen master and all-around cool cat Jeff Goldblum is also a musician and tinkles the ivories with his jazz band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. They released their debut album, ’The Capitol Studio Sessions,’ back in November

The lineup also includes Pretenders, Kamasi Washington, The Specials, Seu Jorge, Margo Price, Violent Femmes, The Bangles, Margaret Glaspy, Hurray for the Riff Raff, and more.

Outside Lands continued Saturday with a headlining set from Metallica, as well as sets from The Avett Brothers, Foxygen, Cage the Elephant, The Lemon Twigs, Temples, Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, Josh Wink, Kaytranada, S U R V I V E, Thundercat, Real Estate, Dawes, and more.
