It's officially End-of-the-Year list season as Rough Trade Shops -- always first out of the gate -- have announced their Top 100 Albums of 2017...

Courtney and Kurt gave the packed crowd a string of tracks off their collaborative LP, including reworked versions of each other's material and some covers.

Backed by an all-star backing band, The Sea Lice, Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile played a combination of original material from the new album Lotta Sea Lice, covers of each other's work, and other covers, including one of opener Jen Cloher's songs, "Fear Is Like a Forest."

The Australian government is currently conducting a national survey to see whether its citizens think same sex couples should be allowed to get married. To drive the "Yes" message, Australian artists like Courtney Barnett, Twerps, Beaches, Hockey Dad, Terry and more are contributing to the mixtape.

"I started spacing out and writing a song for Courtney," Vile says. "I had a fantasy that she would sing it with me." The album's out in October.

Jen's song is part of the 'Our First 100 Days' series.
