The third edition of Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner's Eaux Claires festival was heavy on collaborations between performers, including Vernon and Dessner themselves. Paul Simon was joined by a classical ensemble, and many artists covered John Prine. Chance the Rapper, Danny Brown, Feist, Perfume Genius, Sylvan Esso, and Francis and the Lights were among others who played the festival.
The fest includes 'Artists-In-Residence' which will have "an assembled cast of notable musicians [creating] an integral creative core, ready to jump in and contribute their talents to announced and unannounced performances across the entire weekend."
Bon Iver is doing a set billed as ‘Bon Iver Presents John Prine And The American Songbook,’ the legendary Paul Simon is doing a collab set with yMusic, and the bill also includes Chance the Rapper, Danny Brown, Sylvan Esso, Mountain Man, Collections of Colonies of Bees, and more.
