The Go-Go's breaking up after farewell tour with Best Coast (2 NYC-area shows w/ BrooklynVegan presale)
New wave vets The Go-Go’s formed in 1978 and have reunited a few times since their initial 1985 breakup. They’ve been going strong since 1999, but now they’re breaking up again after a farewell tour. Support on several dates comes from Best Coast, who were definitely influenced by The Go-Go’s. Also opening on all dates is pop singer Kaya Stewart (the daughter of Eurythmics’ David A. Stewart).
