Eleven years in the making, Congotronics International’s debut album features Konono Nº1, Kasai Allstars, Deerhoof, Juana Molina, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, and Skeletons’ Matt Mehlan.

Augustin took over as bandleader when his father, Konono No.1 founder Mingiedi Mawangu, died in 2015. His son, Makonda, will now take his place.
