Brooklyn’s Industry City will once again host concerts this summer in their courtyard, and the initial lineup includes Guided by Voices, Blonde Redhead, Kid Koala, WAVVES & Surfbort, Frankie Cosmos, Sons of Kemet, Lee Scratch Perry and more.

Plus: Justin Townes Earle, Burna Boy, The Original Misfits, The Psychedelic Furs/James, Carly Rae Jepsen, Riceboy Sleeps, Los Campesinos!, and more tour-related news.

The 2018 edition of Afropunk Brooklyn happens August 25 & 26 with Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae, Miguel, Tyler the Creator, The Internet, IBEYI, Smino, Trash Talk, JPEGMAFIA, Duckwrth, and more.

The hip hop/R&B fest also includes Jhene Aiko, a collaborative set between The Roots and Busta Rhymes, Thundercat, Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def), Madlib, and more.

The two weekends of Coachella happen April 13 – 15 and April 20 – 22.

HBO’s ‘Insecure’ always has incredible music, thanks to music supervisor Kier Lehman, the show’s composer Raphael Saadiq, and the show’s creator, co-writer and star Issa Rae. Season one also featured Solange as a music consultant.
