Louis C.K. is once again the subject of criticism after audio leaked from a recent stand-up set, the latest entry in his highly controversial return to stand up comedy, which he began less than one year after admitting to sexual misconduct.

Greenwich Village comedy club Comedy Cellar once again found itself the subject of criticism after hosting a fundraiser for sexual violence and domestic assault prevention organizations Raliance and No More, two days after another surprise appearance from Louis C.K.

"I need to make jokes because I need an income," Louis CK said at Monday night's Comedy Cellar show, his first being listed on the bill in advance since his "return" to stand-up comedy after admitting to sexual misconduct.

”If there’s a crime here, and the law gets involved, that’s what the law is for,” Jerry Seinfeld says in a new interview. ”The laws of comedy, we kind of make them up as we go.”

”Ugh this is why I don’t like weighing in,” Sarah said after being confronted for telling Howard Stern that Louis C.K. masturbated in front of her with her consent.

”I’m not saying everyone should embrace Louis C.K. again,” Sarah Silverman told Howard Stern. ”I believe he has remorse. I just want him to talk about it on stage. He’s going to have to find his way or not find his way.”

Louis said on stage at NYC's West Side Comedy Club that ”it's been a weird year” and that he's been to ”Hell and back.”

The applause had barely died down at Comedy Cellar, where Louis C.K. had done a surprise performance earlier the same week, when Cellar regular and Jim Gaffigan tourmate Ted Alexandro asked the crowd, "what, does a guy have to be convicted of sexual assault to get an extended ovation?"
