Artists from the cancelled Sound on Sound fest have announced Austin shows for that weekend, including Grizzly Bear, The Shins, Boris, Ariel Pink, Japandroids, Cloud Nothings, Cannibal Corpse, Power Trip, and more.

Sound on Sound will host Druid's Discothéque, a "full club experience" that is inspired by "1970's nightclubbing, from the shores of Italy's Lake Garda where the classic Cosmic Club thrived, to DJ Kool Herc's legendary basement parties at 173 Sedgwick Ave in the Bronx where Hip Hop was born."
The Austin-area festival includes Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Iggy Pop, Grizzly Bear, Blood Orange, Electric Wizard, Sleep, The Shins, Vince Staples, Dinosaur Jr, Converge, Taking Back Sunday, and more.
The 2017 edition of Sound on Sound happens November 10 - 12 at Sherwood Forest which is just outside of Austin, TX. The lineup also includes Electric Wizard, Sleep, Vince Staples, Digable Planets, Converge, and still so much more.
