NYC was treated to a Beatle on a rooftop when Ringo and His All Starr Band -- which currently includes members of Santana, Toto, Men at Work, and more -- played The Rooftop at Pier 17...

Having always gotten by with a little help from his friends, Ringo’s All-Star Band includes Colin Hay (Men at Work), Steve Lukather (Toto), Gregg Rolie (Journey/Santana), and Graham Gouldman (10cc). Ringo shares the spotlight, too, so in addition to solo and Beatles songs you get his band's hits, too.

There's also a documentary on Colin coming out, and he'll do live Q&As along with screenings in Chicago in NYC.

Ska-core greats Leftover Crack returned last year with Constructs of the State, their first album since 2004. If you still haven't heard that, it's a real ripper and it's really at least as good as their early stuff. The band have been doing plenty of touring in support of it, but they haven't gotten in a hometown NYC show yet since its release. That will change this year.
