Newport Folk Festival wrapped up on Sunday with lots of guests, covers, and collaborations. John Prine, Suzanne Vega, Dr. Dog, John Paul White, Rhiannon Giddens, Whitney, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Michael Kiwanuka, Margaret Glaspy, Pinegrove, and others played the final day of this year’s festival….

Saturday at Boston Calling had sets from Mumford & Sons, The 1975, The xx, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats, Tegan and Sara, Danny Brown, Cousin Stizz, Moses Sumney, and more.

The 2017 edition of Boston Calling includes Tool, Mumford & Sons, Chance the Rapper, Bon Iver, The xx, Sigur Ros, Solange, Run the Jewels, Wolf Parade, Piebald, and more.

The festival also includes Weezer, Vince Staples, Charles Bradley, Modern Baseball, Cashmere Cat, Foxygen, and more.

Jane’s Addiction’s set included appearances by Tom Morello and Smashing Pumpkins’ Jimmy Chamberlain.
