Mirah preps deluxe reissue of debut LP (listen to Mount Eerie's cover of "Of Pressure")

”It was a joy to record my version of Mirah’s song ’Of Pressure’ using the old cassette 4 track and all the instruments we used to use together in the old days,” Phil Elverum said of the cover, which is part of a tribute LP included with the reissue.

Night Shop is Justin of Babies/Kevin Morby (listen, see him w/ Waxahatchee)

Justin Sullivan, who was the drummer for The Babies and Kevin Morby’s band and currently plays in Flat Worms, also makes music on his own as Night Shop. This year he released an EP of demos, which finds him in good company with Morby, making a similar style of acoustic-y folk rock.
