There are lots of music films at TFF this year, including documentaries about Other Music, Shannon Hoon, Sublime, Linda Ronstadt, D’Angelo, Bill Wyman, Woodstock, Lil Buck, Inna De Yard, Michael Hutchence, and more.

Other Music and MoMA PS1’s indie label market and music festival, “Come Together,” is returning for a third year, and for the first time is expanding to two days.

Among the announced 2018 events, there will be a tribute to Dead Moon’s Fred Cole in the form of a release party for Dead Moon: The Book with Toody Cole and Mississippi Records founder and editor Eric Isaacson, including rare ephemera and archival materials.
