UK music site The Quietus have published their Albums of the Year 2018 list and, as usual, it looks pretty different than most other sites' lists...

The first major list of the year's best metal albums is here.

Panopticon said the first half of the album is atmospheric black metal and the second half is country/folk, and they weren't exaggerating.

Their schedule includes the just-announced Fire In The Mountains festival, which is gradually revealing its lineup.
