We lost two iconic NYC counter-culture shops last weekend, while rock n’ roll clothing store Trash and Vaudeville had it’s last day at its St. Mark’s locale.

Costume designer and downtown style icon Patricia Field will close her famed boutique in 2016 after 50 years in business. Originally opened in the West Village in 1966, her store moved to the East Village in 1971, and has been in its current location (306 Bowery) since 2012…
