Former Voxtrot singer Ramesh has just announced his first solo album in 8 years, and you can hear the grand, sweeping title track now...

SXSW is just two months away, and here's this week's music lineup update. Newly announced 2019 showcasing artists include John Vanderslice, PAWS, Sidney Gish, Drivin N Cryin, Ratking, Laura Stevenson, NOTS, Gymshorts, Drab Majesty, and more.

New additions include Let's Eat Grandma, Har Mar Superstar, Matthew Logan Vasquez, Hurray for the Riff Raff, onetime Voxtrot frontman Ramesh, Cakes Da Killa, Johnny Flynn, Las Rosas, and lots more.

It's more of an anthemic ballad than Voxtrot were known for, heading a little bit towards '80s Springsteen/U2 territory but Ramesh's unmistakable voice keeps it sounding unique.

Spectres hail from Bristol, UK and make the kind of hazy, dark din that's not too far off from what Ride or Swervedriver did in their early days...
