Ticketholders are still waiting for information on promised Friday and Sunday refunds.

Wilco’s Mexico concert vacation is still on for next week as Covid cases surge to all time highs, and some ticketholders call for a refund option.

The 30-day window will begin May 1 and will only be available for shows that have already announced rescheduled dates. If something has just been ”postponed” with no new date, ticket holders will will get 30 days to request a refund once the new date has been announced.

”The impact of this cancellation on the community that makes Big Ears possible — the artists, the festival attendees, our staff and production teams, and the Knoxville community with all of its businesses and workers — cannot be overstated,” Big Ears’ founder writes.

Refunds will be available to ticketholders unable to attend to rescheduled dates in September.

”We wish that the SXSW and SXSW EDU no refund policy was just there as a safeguard and never imagined we would ever be in a situation where we would have to enforce it in this manner,” the festival wrote.

Both festivals, which were cancelled over coronavirus concerns, are offering ticketholders the option to transfer their tickets to 2021 or 2022.
