Austin's Levitation festival runs October 27-30 with OSEES, King Gizzard, JAMC, The Black Angels, Trail of Dead, Godspeed, Protomartyr, Os Mutantes, Moon Duo and lots more.

Substance 2022 goes down October 21 & 22 in Los Angeles and also on the lineup are Clock DVA, Kontravoid, Linea Aspera, Schwefelgelb, Youth Code, Sextile, Cumgirl8, and more.

Originally set for 2020, the L.A. fest with an '80s alternative / goth vibe will now happen in 2022 with Echo & the Bunnymen, The Psychedelic Furs, The Damned, Violent Femmes, The English Beat, PiL, Cold Cave, Black Marble and more also playing.

It's like a John Hughes soundtrack performed live, with Violent Femmes, The Church, English Beat, Public Image Ltd, Gary Numan, Marc Almond and lots more also playing this one-day LA fest.

Cold Cave also say they have more new music on the way.

After getting rained out in 2016 and taking 2017 off, Levitation festival returned to downtown Austin this past weekend (April 26-30) with artists across the spectrum of what gets called psych.
