“White Lipstick” b/w “Lose My Mind” is out now via the Sub Pop Singles Club; Hunx will be in NYC for Halloween at Jonathan Toubin's annual Haunted Hop party.
John Waters returns as host, and the lineup includes Bikini Kill, Plastic Bertrand (playing his first Bay Area show ever), Bleached, Pansy Division, and more.
The Garden, Las Rosas, White Mystery, Peach Kelli Pop, The Aquadolls, Surfbort, Olden Yolk and Bleached also responded after Burger Records responded to allegations of sexual misconduct against associated bands and employees, and ultimately shut down entirely.
“A virus may scare the punk rock world out of Oakland in July but we’ll scare it right back on Halloween weekend," says Boogaloo host and trash maestro John Waters. "Trick or treat, we can’t be beat! Burger Boogaloo 2020: a Monster Mash to top them all!”
