Founding Smash Mouth vocalist Steve Harwell has died at age 56 after receiving hospice care for liver failure.

The Milwaukee, WI, festival, celebrating its 55th anniversary this year, spans three weekends between June 22 and July 8 and features over 100 artists.

Smash Mouth singer and co-founder Steve Harwell has retired the band due to health issues, following a less-than-great festival show in Bethel, NY this past weekend.

At least 103 cases of coronavirus in various states have been linked to the annual South Dakota motorcycle rally, which went on without mask or social distancing requirements this year.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is expected to draw 250,000 people over 10 days, and the musical lineup still has Buckcherry, Lit, Night Ranger, Molly Hatchet, Drowning Pool, Quiet Riot, and The Reverend Horton Heat also featured.

Most big events this year have been canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but South Dakota’s 80th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is still revving its engines, with Smash Mouth, Trapt, Buckcherry, Lit, Night Ranger, Molly Hatchet, Drowning Pool, scheduled to play.

Twitching Tongues singer Colin Young spearheaded the video, which also includes members of Touche Amore, Every Time I Die, Harm’s Way, Angel Du$t, and more.

Just about every area of recorded music was hit by the fire, from jazz to punk to cabaret to comedy, new wave, historical speeches, metal, hip hop, you name it.
