New York Music Month returns in June (free shows, musician rehearsal space, more)
The third annual New York Music Month includes a free concert series, a conference on music and technology, access to rehearsal space for musicians, weekly music history walking tours, weekly workshops by and for the LGBTQ community, and more.
NYC getting an official 'Nighttime Ambassador' advocate for music and nightlife
NYC will join other cities in getting an office dedicated to nightlife. The creation of a Nighttime Ambassador is part of New York Works, a ten-year economic plan from the mayor’s office, which also includes making affordable workspace for artists.

2000+ hours of free rehearsal space will be available to NYC musicians at Spaceworks’ 20 studios as part of New York Music Month in June.
