Tonight's NYC-area shows include Quicksand/Glassjaw, Against Me!/Cherry Glazerr, Beyonce & Jay-Z, Paint It Black, Noname, George Clinton, Alan Braufman, and more.

PR Presents' unique all-women collaborative concert series The Hum returns for shows every Wednesday in May at House of Yes in Brooklyn. Julie Byrne, Breanna Barbara, Glasser and more are also playing.

There’s also an upcoming Planned Parenthood benefit in NYC with CupcakKe.

Big Thief released their sophomore album Capacity today, one of the most anticipated and best albums from a young indie band this year (read our review). One of its standout tracks, "Mary," dates back to a one-off collaborative set that Big Thief singer Adrianne Lenker played with Tiny Hazard singer Alena Spanger at The Hum in 2015...
