While they're in NYC for the VMAs, Foo Fighters will play a Brooklyn show at a way more intimate venue than usual.

The VMAs return with an in-person event, following last year's virtual edition.

As previously speculated, the VMAs will return to Brooklyn this year, but with a reduced crowd - or perhaps no crowd at all.

“We’re exploring with government officials, the medical community, and key stakeholders on how to safely hold the 2020 VMAs at Barclays Center on August 30th,” reads the official MTV statement. “The health of everyone involved remains our number one priority. Additionally, we are working on several contingency plans to bring music’s biggest night to audiences everywhere.”
