"It's fucking hot, isn't it," Rachel Goswell exclaimed at Slowdive's show at House of Vans on Saturday. With temperatures in the 90s that day, and only an (admittedly massive) fan to cool the warehouse space that is HoV, it was indeed fucking hot. Despite this, or maybe the waves of heat combined with the crests of beautiful guitars, Saturday's show was terrific.
