Local group Women's March Alliance organized the march on Manhattan's Upper West Side on Saturday. Happening at the same time in Foley Square was the Women's Unity Rally, held by the national Women's March organization, which has been embroiled in allegations of anti-semitism.
Almost a year to the day after the 2017 edition, thousands of people took to the streets of NYC once again on Saturday (1/20) for the 2018 Women's March. 72nd St and Central Park West was this year's official starting point, but streets were clogged with marchers blocks away.
