Take One Car signed to Broken World for new LP (stream it)

Upstate NY post-hardcore band Take One Car have been regulars on their local scene for years now. They self released two albums, 2009’s When the Ceiling Meets the Floor and 2012’s It’s Going To Be a Nice Day, and more recently signed to TWIABP co-founder Derrick Shanholtzer’s label, Broken World Media, who will release their third album, Everyone You Know Is Here Right Now, next week (3/31). You can pre-order yours.

The band’s talk-singing style suggests they may have listened to a lot of early mewithoutYou and La Dispute, and like those bands, Take One Car are in dead-serious mode the whole time. You can listen for yourself — the full album stream premieres below.

Take One Car have two shows coming up at the moment, a release party on April 18 in Kent, NY and the sold-out Broken World Fest.
