Talking Heads, The Shins, Mercury Rev, ABC & more added to Tim's Twitter Listening Party lineup
Started as something fun and communal to do during lockdown, Tim’s Twitter Listening Party, where people are invited to listen to a classic album at a designated time and the artists who made them share anecdotes and answer fan questions, has been going for over two months now. There are usually at least a couple a day, all hosted by The Charlatans’ Tim Burgess, and the schedule continues to grow.
New additions since our last post include: The Horrors – Primary Colors (5/21); The Shins – Oh, Inverted World (5/24); Culture Club – Colour by Numbers (5/24); Nada Surf – The Weight is a Gift (5/25); Mercury Rev – Deserter’s Songs (5/26); Rufus Wainwright – Want One (5/26); Tim Burgess‘ new album I Love the New Sky (5/27); ABC – The Lexicon of Love (5/28); Maximo Park – A Certain Trigger (6/2); Electrelane – The Power Out (6/3); Talking Heads – More Songs About Buildings and Food (6/3); Four Tet – Rounds (6/5); Camera Obscura – Let’s Get out of the Country (6/6); The Wedding Present – Seamonsters (6/8); Badly Drawn Boy – The Hour of the Bewilderbeast (6/9); Idlewild – 100 Broken Windows (6/10); OMD – Dazzle Ships (6/12); Tears for Fears – The Hurting (6/14); Caribou – Swim (6/15); Supergrass – In it for the Money (6/16); Camper Van Beethoven – Telephone Free Landslide Victory (6/16); Moloko – Statues (6/19); Edgar Wright talks the Baby Driver soundtrack (6/20, rescheduled from 5/16); and more.

Check out the full schedule below and for more details (like the specific participants of each listening party) head to Tim’s website.
