The Tallest Man on Earth (aka Kristian Matsson) recently concluded his five-song When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground project, which came out one song at a time, with the crackling, gorgeous "Then I Won't Sing No More." His tour supporting the project begins tonight (9/21), and ahead of the tour, Kristian shared a playlist of what he'll be listening to while making his way around the globe. "With When The Bird Sees The Solid Ground now finished and tour beginning [...], I wanted to share some songs that I’ll be listening to on the road. I hope you enjoy," he said. The playlist includes music by Aretha Franklin, Can, Swampp Dogg ft. Bon Iver, Paul Simon, Phosphorescent, Adrianne Lenker, Damien Jurado, Feist, Vampire Weekend, Big Red Machine, James Blake, Sylvan Esso, Daniel Johnston, Spiritualized, Sufjan Stevens, Arcade Fire, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, Radiohead, Strand of Oaks, Leonard Cohen, Nils Frahm, and more.
