Tame Impala at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival

Tame Impala & Dungen played Celebrate Brooklyn! at Prospect Park again (night 2 setlist)

[photos removed due to some legal complications. check out pics from night one instead]

Tame Impala brought their tour to Prospect Park for their second sold-out of two sold-out shows last night (6/15). It was one of the ticketed shows in the 2016 BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. It was a near repeat of the Tuesday night show setlist-wise, and once again the great Swedish jazz-psychedelic group Dungen opened for them. Though we missed out on Dungen the first night, we managed to catch them for the second round.

Like on Tuesday, Tame Impala’s set featured half of Currents, portions of their first two albums, and a rendition of “Daffodils,” co-written by Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker with Mark Ronson. Pictures and their setlist are in this post.

While Tame Impala move on to Maryland tonight, you can see Dungen in NYC again this Friday (6/17) at Bowery Ballroom with Purling Hiss (solo) and Shadow Band. Tickets for that show are still available.
