The Acacia Strain, Rotting Out, Creeping Death, Chamber, Fuming Mouth touring in 2020
The Acacia Strain are going on a headlining tour in 2020, and they’re taking out an amazing group of openers: Rotting Out, Creeping Death, Chamber, and Fuming Mouth.
The tour begins in New Haven on 2/28 and hits Long Island’s Amityville Music Hall (2/29) the next night, and ends back in the Northeast, hitting Brooklyn’s Kingsland on April 4 before wrapping up in Philly one night later. Tickets for Amityville and Brooklyn (and the whole tour) go on sale Wednesday (12/18) at 10 AM EST. All dates are listed below.
Rotting Out have been in the midst of a comeback since releasing their first song in four years, “Reaper,” and they sounded great opening for Knocked Loose earlier this year. Texas thrashy death metallers have been on the rise and they put out their very solid debut album Wretched Illusions not long before beginning their recent tour with High On Fire and Power Trip. Nashville mathy metalcore crew Chamber inked a deal with Pure Noise this year, and they celebrated by releasing a compilation of early material and a new song. Last but definitely not least, Massachusetts hardcore/death metal blenders Fuming Mouth dropped their killer debut LP The Grand Descent on Triple B this year.
The Acacia Strain were also in the news earlier this year for condemning the Ohio shooter who wore one of their shirts, and promising to “[take] action to help the families of the victims however we can.”
