New wave vets The B-52’s were in the NYC-area over the weekend for two shows, the second of which was at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on Saturday (1/31). The band, who are coming up fast on their 40th anniversary, kept the party going with a cavalcade of party-friendly classics like “Private Idaho,” “Dance This Mess Around,” “Love Shack,” “Legal Tender,” “Planet Claire” and “Rock Lobster.” Pictures from the Cap show are in this post and continue, with their setlist, below.

Meanwhile, B-52’s singer Kate Pierson‘s new solo album will be out later this month.
