The Besnard Lakes playing this month's free Taste of The Seaport

Montreal’s The Besnard Lakes will headline this year’s Taste of the Seaport event which will happen October 15 at South Street Seaport in NYC. They’ll play at 2 PM, and before them will be performances from Eric DiVito, The Pens, and Harsh Crowd. In addition to the music, Taste of the Seaport features stands from 40 food and beverage purveyors from the South Street Seaport area, proceeds from the event benefit arts and enrichment programs at two public elementary schools, PS 343 Peck Slip School and PS 397 Spruce Street School.

The music is free, but the food is not. Besnard Lakes, who released A Colliseum Complex Museum at the start of 2016, were last in NYC in July. They’ll be playing some West Coast shows in December — all Besnard Lakes dates are listed, along with the Taste of the Seaport flyer, below.
