Canadian garage punks The Beverleys just followed their 3-song EP on Buzz Records with a new single, “Hoodwink,” which is ever so slightly less lo-fi than the EP but still heavy on the grit (and on the hooks). Check it out below.
The band will be heading out on a tour with their labelmates HSY soon which begins in NYC for CMJ. Both bands play the Buzz Records/Ipsum Magazine showcase happening October 23 at Shea Stadium with Weaves, Vulture Shit, Mexican Slang and Muuy Biien. Tickets for that show are on sale now. The Bevs also play the Brixton Agency showcase at Grand Victory on October 22. UPDATE: They dropped off the Brixton show.
