The Breeders announce new LP 'All Nerve,' share title track, touring

After much anticipation, The Breeders have announced their new album All Nerve which will be out March 2 via 4AD. It was made with the same lineup that gave us Last Splash and was recorded in Dayton, KY, Chicago and Dayton, OH with Steve Albini, Tom Tastikis, Greg Norman and Mike Montgomery behind the boards. Courtney Barnett and her band guest on “Howl at the Summit” and Breeders bassist Josephine Wiggs sings lead on “MetaGoth.” Graphic designer Chris Bigg, who has worked with The Breeders from the beginning, did the artwork. They’ve just shared the All Nerve‘s title track, which is one of the songs they did with Albini, which is led with some flinty bass and sweet vocals before ripping open. You can listen to that, and check out the album cover and tracklist, below.

The Breeders have also just announced a tour, which will hit the NYC area for two shows: April 30 at Brooklyn Steel, and May 2 at Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. Tickets for both those shows go on sale Friday, Janiuary 12 at 10 AM.
