The Breeders release first song in eight years, "Wait in the Car"
The Breeders have been working on a new album, which is set to feature Courtney Barnett. It’s their first album since 2008’s Mountain Battles and first with the classic Last Splash lineup since the mid-’90s. Details on the album are still TBA, but the band did just release their first new song in eight years, “Wait in the Car.” It’s now out as a single on 4AD and it has a video directed by Chris Bigg & Martin Andersen. As mentioned, The Breeders are touring this year, including a sold-out NYC show on November 5 at Bowery Ballroom with Vacation.
