The Broadway is a new Brooklyn venue (in the Gateway spot)
The Bushwick/Bed-Stuy space at 1272 Broadway that once housed The Gateway (and St. Lucian Paradise before that) has reopened with a new name. It’s now called The Broadway and it’s been upgraded with a new sound system, lighting, and backline since its previous incarnations.
The Broadway had its grand opening back in June, and it has a full schedule of shows coming up, including Jonathan Toubin‘s Trippy NY Night Train with Grim Streaker and People’s Court on 8/10 (tickets); a late show with Jacuzzi Boys and Sahd White Guyz on 8/16 (tickets); Frankie and The Witch Fingers, Las Rosas, Miranda and The Beat, and Francie Moon on 8/17 (tickets); Yowler, Dark Tea, Outerspaces, and James Matthew VII on 8/29 (tickets); and Bonny Doon on 10/3 (tickets).
