If you're watching Twin Peaks: The Return, you have probably noticed that the closing credits of each episode feature a band playing at The Roadhouse (aka the Bang Bang Bar). Chromatics were in the two-part first episode, and episode three (probably the weirdest episode of Twin Peaks ever) featured Minneapolis band The Cactus Blossoms performing "Mississippi." With a twangy, lonesome sound that recalls The Everly Brothers, brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum fit right into Lynch's world. "Mississippi" is from The Cactus Blossom's 2016 album, You're Dreaming, and you can stream the whole thing below. It will probably end up on the new Twin Peaks soundtrack being released in September.

The Cactus Blossoms, who you may have seen at Stagecoach fest this year or open for Nick Lowe a few years ago, are currently on tour, and will play NYC's Mercury Lounge on July 12. Tickets are on sale now. All tour dates are listed below.
