The Cure announce Pasadena Daydream fest w/ Pixies, Deftones, Mogwai, more

Robert Smith mentioned The Cure were putting together a festival in California with some of their favorite artists, and it’s just been announced. The Pasadena Daydream Festival happens Aug, 31 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA and the lineup includes Pixies, Deftones, Mogwai, Throwing Muses, The Joy Formidable, Chelsea Wolfe, The Twilight Sad, Emma Ruth Rundle, Kaelan Mikla and The Cure as headliners.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 17 at noon PDT.

For Mogwai, this falls right in the midst of their just-announced US tour.
