The Damned, with a fully-functional Captain Sensible, played Warsaw (pics, setlist)

Having played a few shows on a specially-made throne, following a spill off the stage, Captain Sensible was up on his feet and back in full action for The Damned‘s make-up show at Brooklyn’s Warsaw on Tuesday night (5/23), part of the iconic punk band’s 40th anniversary tour. The setlist was jam-packed with Damned classics, inlcuding “Smash it Up,” “New Rose,” “Anti-Pope,” “Wait for the Blackout,” “Love Song,” their cover of Love’s “Alone Again Or,” “Melody Lee” and lots more. Check out the setlist below and pictures from the night (inlcluding pics of openers The Bellrays) are in the gallery above.

The Damned will soon be recording their first new album in nearly a decade.
