The Darkness released 'The Last of Our Kind,' announce North American tour with three NYC-area shows (dates, LP stream)

The Darkness‘ fourth album, The Last of Our Kind, is out now. It dials down the pomp just a little, in favor of a tougher sound (that at times is not too far from The Cult circa Love or Electric). You can stream the whole thing below.
The band will be on tour this fall, starting on the West Coast for Tenacious D’s Festival Supreme and working their way East. The tour hits NYC at Irving Plaza on October 27. They’ll also play Asbury Park, NJ’s Stone Pony on October 28 and Huntington, NY’s The Paramount on Halloween (10/31). Tickets for those three NYC-area shows go on sale Friday (6/26) at 10 AM with LiveNation presales beginning Wednesday (6/24) at 10 AM.
