The Dead Weather streaming 'Dodge and Burn' and hosting listening parties; Jack White made a drum technique video

The Dead Weather

Nashville-based supergroup The Dead Weather have released a stream of their upcoming third LP, Dodge and Burn, exclusively on Tidal. The band has released three fiery singles in promotion of the record: “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)”, “Cop and Go” and “Mile Markers”. You can stream the record with a Tidal subscription below. The record is up for pre-order over at Third Man, and TMR Vault members can get an exclusive Vault edition.

The Dead Weather will be also holding listening parties of the new record in various cities leading up to its September 25 release date. One happens in Brooklyn at Baby’s All Right on 9/24 at 7 PM. It’s totally free. Get more info here and check out the flyer below. The list of dates/venues for all of the listening parties is also below.

A couple of the band members also made videos discussing their technique for their respective instruments. Jack White has one for drums and bassist Jack Lawrence has one for bass. You can watch both below.

In related news, singer/keyboardist Alison Mosshart‘s main act The Kills had to recently reschedule tour dates that would have been this month. Those shows, including two sold-out Brooklyn dates, now happen in April 2016. More info here.
