The Distillers cancel shows due to Brody Dalle suffering from herniated disc, add more dates
Reunited punk greats The Distillers have been touring again since 2018 (we just caught them tearing it up in NYC last week), but unfortunately, the band were forced to cancel at least two shows due to singer Brody Dalle‘s health. “Brody has a herniated disc and can not stand. She’s at the hospital getting treatment now,” the band wrote on Saturday (6/1) when they were forced to cancel their Philly show, and Sunday’s Carrboro (6/2) was cancelled too. The band are promising make-up dates and they say they’ll post more updates soon. We hope Brody is okay and is able to recover quickly!
The band’s next scheduled tour date is for Nashville on Tuesday (6/4); no word yet on if the band will be able to play. They also have upcoming dates with the Misfits, an Asbury Park show, and more. Stay tuned for more updates.
UPDATE: The Distillers haven’t rescheduled the cancelled dates yet, but they did just add new shows in Boise, Spokane, and Vancouver. Updated tour poster below.
