The Drums share “The Mirror” from new LP, expand tour
The Drums have just shared "The Mirror," one of the standout tracks from their very good new album, Abysmal Thoughts, which is out this Friday. Says frontman Jonny Pierce, "This entire album felt like intense therapy and 'Mirror' was the first session. My steady anchor through the entire recording process was my dearest friend, Ioanna Gika - she held my hand through all of it and so I thought it fitting to ask her to sing with me on this song." You can stream "The Mirror"
below.
Having just played Brooklyn at House of Vans, The Drums have expanded their tour, including autumn tour dates that include a big NYC show at Brooklyn Steel on November 15. Tickets for Brooklyn Steel (and all the fall dates) are on artist presale now (use password ABYSMAL) and go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 16 at noon.
The Brooklyn show (and others) is with Methyl Ethel. Other dates on the tour are with Hoops, Stef Chura, Soccer Mommy and Ne-Hi. Updated tour dates are listed below.
