Dave Waking is keeping The English Beat alive, with the current version of the band (which he is the only original member of) on the road constantly. The’ll be in NYC on Friday (5/6), actually for a sold-out show at City Winery. Their upcoming tour also includes a two-week run with…Soul Asylum? It’s true. (Nostalgia’s nostalgia, right?) That odd match-up doesn’t have a NYC show currently but does hit Boston, Philadelphia and Fairfield, CT. All tour dates for both bands are listed below.
