The Frightnrs releasing dub version of their 2016 LP on Daptone (hear a song)

Last year, The Frightnrs frontman Dan Klein sadly passed away at 33 after battling A.L.S, and the band’s album Nothing More To Say was released on Daptone after his death. On October 20 of this year, Daptone will release a dub version of the album, Nothing More To Say Versions (pre-order). According to the press release, “This isn’t a repackaging of some remixed material. Each song has been lovingly deconstructed and reimagined by producer Victor Axelrod.” We’ve got the premiere of “Lookin (Version),” the new dub version of “Lookin For My Love.” The new version really is its own beast — listen and compare it to the original below.
