The Hold Steady announce 'Boys and Girls In America' shows at Brooklyn Bowl

Earlier this year, The Hold Steady announced they’d be playing shows to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Boys and Girls in America, and that they’d have keyboardist Franz Nicolay back in the fold. They already announced that they’d be doing the album at both Riot Fests, and now they added three shows in their hometown of NYC.

The band will hit Brooklyn Bowl on December 1, 2 and 3 with support from a different special guest each night. Members of the band’s fan club will receive a presale password in the next 24 hours, and presales start Wednesday (7/20) at 10 AM. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday (7/22) at 10 AM.

The Brooklyn Bowl shows, the Riot Fests, and Toronto’s TURF festival are The Hold Steady’s only Boys and Girls in America shows in 2016, but they’re planning more through October 2017. All currently scheduled dates are listed below.

Last week, Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn joined Beach Slang at their Replacements cover show in Brooklyn.
