The Meadows continued its second year at Citi Field in Queens on Saturday (9/16) with lots of sets featuring surprise guest appearances. Gorillaz capped off the night with a headlining set featuring everyone from De La Soul (who also played their own set earlier in the afternoon) to Pusha T, Little Simz, D.R.A.M., Jehnny Beth of Savages, Yasiin Bey, and Del the Funky Homosapien. More on that HERE.

We already posted about LL Cool J‘s star-studded set, which included appearances from Q-Tip and Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest, DMC, Grandmaster Flash, and Melle Mel and Scorpio of The Furious Five.

Future also had some surprises up his sleeve for his Saturday set: special guests Nicki Minaj, Yo Gotti, and Young Thug. Billboard reports:

Future brought out Yo Gotti for “Rake It Up,” which would’ve been enough to please the ecstatic Meadows Stage crowd. But nope, the “Mask Off” rapper elevated his set to the next level by also welcoming Nicki Minaj to the stage to sing her part of the Gotti collab. “My baby, my friend forever, my love for life,” Future said of Minaj as she gave one final hair flip before walking off. The guest appearances didn’t end there, though, as moments later Future introduced his “blood brother” Young Thug for “Pick Up the Phone,” “Lifestyle” and “About the Money.”

Saturday at The Meadows also included sets from M.I.A., Erykah Badu, Tory Lanez, TV on the Radio, A-Trak, Antibalas, Big Boi, BadBadNotGood, Flatbush Zombies, Vampire Weekend drummer Chris Tomson’s project Dams of the West, and more. Check out pictures in the gallery above.

The Meadows wraps up on Sunday (9/17); if you aren’t there, you can stream it live. Catch up on our coverage with pictures from Friday at The Meadows HERE.
