The Mommyheads prep first LP in 6 years (listen to "Phantom Limb")
New York/San Francisco indie rock survivors The Mommyheads, still led by Adam Elk, will release their 11th full-length album, Soundtrack to the World’s End, on September 7. It’s their first album in six years and they still sound in fine form on the very pretty rocker “Phantom Limb,” which premieres in this post. Listen below.
The Mommyheads will celebrate Soundtrack to the World’s End with a Brooklyn release show at Union Pool on September 29 with another longtime indie band, Jump, Little Children, and Michael Flynn. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, June 22 at 10 AM. They’ll also be playing shows in Sweden, dates TBA.
